Jaffa Movie Review

Jaffa Movie Review Rating : 1.75/5 Title :Jaffa (2013) Star Cast : Brahmanandam, Shravan , Ali , Vennela Kishore , Fish Venkat Director : Vennela Kishore Producer : Ramesh Varma Releasing on : 2013-03-29 Jaffa Review, Telugu Mirchi Rating : 1.75/5 | Click here for Telugu Review Title :Jaffa (2013) Star Cast : Brahmanandam, Shravan , Ali , Vennela Kishore , Fish Venkat Director : Vennela Kishore Producer : Ramesh Varma Releasing on : 2013-03-29 Review : Did the Telugu audiences do something wrong or terrible to Vennela Kishore? Maybe they did. When he had unleashed his creativity or comedy in some movie, they might not have laughed but must have laughed their guts out when he showed something scary. Like Duryodhana was insulted in Mayasabha, Vennela Kishore might have been so and must have nurtured some sort of grudge on the hapless audiences. He did not know how to vent those feelings out and so found a medium to do so in Vennela One And A Half. He thought he had been successful in taking his revenge but unfortunately for him we are made of sterner stuff, we took it lightly and with that Vennela Kishore’s dream of wreaking vengeance remains half fulfilled. Now he has planned to to take everything that is left with interest. He knew that if his picture is there on the posters people will not come, so he used Brahmanandam’s photo and directed this comedy that leaves you in tears. Jaffa (Brahmanandam) goes to jail for a crime he did not commit, the jail has strong security and there is a jail authority called Vicky (Vennela Kishore). Jaffa gets close to different prisoners with his intelligence and method of talking. He gives advice to people there on how to escape from being hanged, how to get close to a girlfriend, how to solve household problems etc, this way he earns a lot of fan following. One fine day he wants to escape and Vicky also helps him. They want to kill the Church Father (Raghu Babu) and when he is laid in a coffin, the plan is to get in with the dead body and move out of the jail. The plan fails and Jaffa has to stay in the coffin. How did he escape and what did he do to get closer the people is the crux of the story. Ifa small kids scribbles on a pad, how does it look? There is some creativity in the kid’s drawing but this film is far worse than that. Even if an amateur sings, there comes out some tune but by now we must have understood that if Vennela Kishore directs a film, it makes no sense absolutely. The biggest example in recent times was his debut film Vennela One And A Half and those who missed that watch this one, you will know what we intend to say. There is a method to make movies, Kishore goes about this as per his whims and fancies. To say that he lacks comprehension there are many examples. People are hanged very early in the morning not mid day, the ones who have the power to postpone the date of hanging or the hours of hanging does not wrest with the constables or jailor. A 90 year old man says he saved all the money for his sister’s wedding , does he mean to say the sister is not yet married, how can he make a movie without logic? Vennela Kishore is a junior but what about Brahmanandam who is so senior by many years ? Doesn’t he know for which scene people laugh and for which they don’t? Brahmi is a big comedian, he can make an entire film a hit by regaling people with a few jokes, but when he acts in a full length won’t the people expect more laughter, more comedy? Kishore didn’t bother about all this, he thought cinema is about weaving a few scenes. It is about making people sit for two and a half hours without getting them bored. There are a few scenes in the jail that make people laugh but there is no logic in that. Only those scenes clicked in which he showed what kind of people come to jail. That is the only place where he was successful other than that the film had nothing. However popular a comedian is, the film will not run if the writing is not proper. He buried Brahmanandam in the second half and focussed on Ali whose work was a take on Chantabbayi. The second half is a big bore. Jaffa means meaningless and true to it’s title the entire film is meaningless. Kishore should stop directing, but if he wishes to continue he better pay interest on writing a proper story and screenplay. Title :Back Bench Student (2013) Star Cast : Mahat Raghavendra, Piaa Bajpai Director : Madhura Sridhar Reddy Producer : MVK Reddy Genre : Romance Releasing on : March 15, 2012. Review : On one relaxed sunday we wish to whip up a biryani and we keep all the ingredients ready and suddenly a mischievous thought germinates…why don’t we mix flour into it? Carrots are common, why don’t we use mangoes instead because it is mango season. How about brinjals? If we stop using the necessary stuff required for Biryani and use what we like instead, it will become a Kichidi undoubtedly. It is the same with movies. We think of conveying one thing and we end up making something else just to add one element or the other to please a certain section of the audience, or to keep with the trend or for churning out a commercial angle. Karthik (Mahat Raghavendra) is a Back Bench Student, always indulging in fun frolic and joins an engineering college just to satisfy them. But what purpose does it serve? he fails in 16 subjects but at home gives an impression that all is well. Karthik has a love story, he has fallen in love with Priyanka (Archana Kavi) and she too likes him. Her dream is to finish engineering here and do her post graduation in America. Her family too supports her decision but on one end she goes through an emotional struggle. She cannot leave Karthik and at the same time she knows her priority is education. Karthik is against her leaving but she goes to reach her goal. Karthik is upset, sulks for a few days but moves on with his life as usual. He now moves closer to Chaitra (Pia Bajpai)and at home his family gets to know that he couldn’t clear the subjects. There is an altercation at home and he quits challenging that he will make a life of his own. Just when Chaitra is happy with Karthik, Priyanka returns for Karthik. Just because someone fails in exams, we cannot say for sure that they will fail in life too. Studies are different, life is different and the story is woven around this point. Veedi Break Up Love Story is the tagline of this Back Bench Student. To be fair we can say that the film has concentrated less on Back Bench Student and more on the tagline..i.e his break up love story. That marks has no relation with intelligence has become a sub plot and not the main plot. We do not know when the story begins, when it takes a twist and when it becomes a triangular love story. Everything is predictable and routine, one gets sidelined and other sacrifices their place for that someone. So eventually we go to the film thinking it is a class troom story but get something else in return. Mahat Raghavendra does a good job but it isn’t so great that we had to import him from a neighbouring state for that role. In scenes when he needs to show his zeal, he looks laid back and in scenes when he needs to go slow, he tends to go overboard. Archana Kavi did not express her feelings at all, maybe the producer did not pay her enough, she was stingy expressing emotions. Pia Bajpai is fine but she did not make a great pair with Mahat. There are two heroines but not one could elevate the scene. The hero lacked clarity, Pia doesn’t know what he wants and so does Karthik, he himself lacks that point. He bashes up a guy because he cheats his girlfriend but then what did Karthik do? isn’t that holier than thou attitude? He immediately fell in love with another girl as soon as the first one leaves abroad. If the hero’s character itself is not clear and justified how can the director execute the entire story with clarity? The scenes are not sharp enough and looks as if people are teaching the audience a few things about life. There is an influence of Happy Days and Ali is suitable in his role. Brahmanandam does nothing to lift the spirits of the audiences, he only drowns them in sorrow. We do not know why he came and why he left, music is by Sunil Kashyap and that is not worth discussing. Our favourite Jagada Jagada and Raja Dhi Raja has been mercilessly massacred. Cinematography is good, though the essence and feel of the story is lost, the cinematographer made a good attempt to portray the visuals well. The director failed in his subject while narrating a story about a guy who failed to clear 16 subjects.

3G Love Review

Story: ‘3G Love’ Telugu Movie Director Venkatapathy Raju, earlier he is worked with Neelakanta. Venkatapathy Raju come up with a youthful entertainer ‘3G Love’. The movie is a romance oriented film with lot of fun and comedy to the youth. In olden days people used to sacrifice everything for love. This attitude has completely changed in now a day. This fast generation is always passionate to messaging through present social networking portals. They are having clear idea about where they are. So love is less important for 3G people. More than ever, the youth in the age group between 18 and 21 attitudes towards love are easy for them to change buddies like a pair of jeans. They are deficient in seriousness and feel love is replaceable. Here a set of good for nothing youngsters gather and discuss rubbish things. These discussions can be shown into scenes, sequences and can be made into far bigger picture. Not more than that. Here in the movie more conversations we can perceive sound like beep, so see in your mind's eye the range, quality of the discussions. If you want to know exact movie story watch on silver screen… Analysis: Coming to 3G Love movie analysis now a day our industry people are now attitude towards the youth is underneath the thought that they have nothing else in mind with the exception of sex. Early stages isn't like this, the directors have isolated opinion. If the parents watch this film they will definitely stop affectionate their children and look at them with misgiving. These movies are avoidable in present day’s situations. Performances: Coming to the artist performances, if a celebrity observe this movie and gives them another film. Movie is too bad to watch the entire thing. Nikhil Siddharth is looking good and his performance is just okay. Coming to Jwala Gutta is looking beautiful. But coming to the movie subject, we won’t like any person here in the movie. Both of them done justice to their role. Rest of the people also had done justice to their respective roles. Technicalities: Director Venkata Pathy Raju thinks converse about sex is a new subject to Telugu cinema. His aptitude in executing it but doesn't become conscious. Screenplay of the movie is almost flop, because the complete movie is look like bits and pieces. Here no need to edit the movie. Coming to Dialogues, They are worst. Cinematography by Sai Sri Ram is just ok. Music by Shekar Chandra is not up to the mark. Final Word: Go and Watch ‘3G Love’, If you are in the age of 18 to 21, Rest of the ages people won’t accept this movie. 3G Love Review Rating: 1.75/5 Banners: Square India Studios Cast: Jwala Gutta, Nikhil Siddharth Music: Shekar Chandra Cinematography: Sai Sri Ram Screenplay, Dialogues & Direction: Venkata Pathy Raju Producer: Pratap Kolagatla

Mahankali Movie Review

Movie : Mahankali Rating: 2/5 Cast : Rajasekhar, Madhurima, Pradeep Rawat, Vinod Kumar and others Directed by : Jeevitha Rajasekhar Produced by : Yeluru SurenderReddy Banner : SS Movies Music : Chinna Dr. Rajasekhar who has been in very poor form in the recent past has donned khakhi uniform for the nth time in this film. His wife Jeevitha wielded megaphone for this cop drama which has very little to offer. What is it about? Mahankali (Rajasekhar) is a sincere and strict police officer and aims to bring down mafia don Arshad (Pradeep Rawat). But he ends up as his associate and starts working for him by taking orders. How Mahankali turns against Arshad and what he does is the remaining story. Performances: Rajasekhar is fine as a sincere cop. This character is cakewalk for him. He might be the actor who has done this role more than any other actor in history. Despite doing that many times, Rajasekhar didn't get bored of it and gave his best shot. To cut things short he is the only saving grace for this rotten cop drama. Madhurima is just okay. Pradeep Rawat is routine and so are Vinod Kumar and Jeeva. There are many actors in this movie and surprisingly there is no trace of single comedian in it. On the Technical Front: Jeevitha failed as a director in all the departments. She couldn't get the best out of her technicians too. Dialogue is cliched and cinematography is pathetic. Music by Chinna is loud and unbearable. Editing and Art departments are non existent. Don't talk about production 'values' please! Jeevitha proved that direction is not her cup of tea yet again. These movies need a capable director to make audiences sit till the end. Asking her to direct this movie is the biggest blunder that Rajasekhar did. Analysis: Mahankali is as old as Rajasekhar. He has been doing films with same theme from ages. Blame it on Ankusam! Rajasekhar tried to get out of the shell by choosing a cop role. Unfortunately he couldn't help this film from being a disaster. There are some nice moments in the first half and credit goes to the actor. Things have gone haywire in second hour and the director had no clue about what to do. She has simply put all the scenes together and waited for the end credits to roll on. Not a single scene in the second hour is worth watching. Climax hits final nail in the coffin. Except for Rajasekhar and few scenes in the first half Mahankali is a total let down. It may appeal to audiences who look for C grade mass movies. Rest can safely stay away from this endless torture.

Gundello Godari Review

rating: 3/5 Punchline: brave film Genre: Romance Type: Straight Banner: Manchu Entertainments Cast: Aadi Pinisetti, Lakshmi Manchu, Sundeep Kishan, Tapsee, Annapurna, Ravi Babu, Pruthvi, Mumaith Khan & Jeeva Lakshmi Manchu's latest production Gundello Godari is one of highly-talked about and most-awaited Telugu movies. It was to release in November 2013, but due to unavailability of enough number of theatres, the movie had to be delayed. Its promos have soared up the viewers' curiosity to sky high. The long wait is worth as the film will surely rock you. Gundello Godari is a romance drama and lead actors' performances are the main highlight of the movie. Ilayaraja's melodious music and background score, MR Palanikumaar's cinematography, amazing CGI and art work, Kumar Nagendra's interesting screenplay, beautiful locations and costumes are its other attractions. The movie has its own share of drawbacks, which are ignored while you are glued to the screens. The film is set against the backdrop of 1986 Godavari floods. Many had lost their homes and livelihoods in that awful incident and the movie depicts destruction and pain caused by this natural disaster. It revolves around two love stories, which show how the lives of four people had changed with the tragedy. Gundello Godari opens with the scenes of heavy rainfall and the film soon goes into flashback mode, which reveals the love story between Aadi and Tapsee. But the first half gives little hint about the natural calamity and it throws more focus on the love story between two lead pairs. The first hour has three beautiful songs including one item number and a fight sequence. Despite not having comedy, the movie is quite interesting. The second half heads to reveal the romance between Sundeep and Lakshmi in the first 30 minutes, which seems to be slow and dragging at times. Then the film shifts back to flooding scene. The climax is amazing and the camera and CGI works and background score in it are superb and it is a visual treat. Fisherman Malli (Aadi) and Chitra (Lakshmi Manchu) are a newly wed couple. They decide to narrate the past life, when they lose hope of survival due to devastating flood. Malli reveals his ambition to buy a fishing boat and his romance with a fishing merchant's daughter Sarala (Tapsee). Meanwhile, Chitra also reveals her love story with Suri (Sundeep Kishan). What made them break up with their loved ones? Will their confessions affect their relationship? Will they survive the flood? The answers to these questions should be seen on screen.

Mr Pellikoduku MovieReview

Mr PellikodukuMovieReview
Motion picture : Mr. Pellikoduku Rating: 2/5 Throws : Sunil, Esha Chawla, Ali and alternates Administered by : Devi Prasad Prepared by : NV Prasad,Paras Jain Pennant : Mega Supergood Pictures Music : SA Raj Kumar Discharge Date : 2013-03-01 Sunil's last motion picture, Mr. Pellikoduku, which is an official redo of Bollywood hit Tanu Marries Manu is out in theaters now. What is it about? Buchibabu (Sunil) comes back from America to work toward getting hitched to a young lady that was decided on by his folks. Their decision is Anjali (Esha Chawla) who awes Buchi Babu in first look. He chooses to marry her however Anjali loathes him and uncovers that she is enamored with a different fella. Buchi Babu has no decision deserted yet to leave Anjali. Notwithstanding, in comes few turns and turns in the tale and at long last there is a joyful finish. Exhibitions: Sunil attempted his best to suit the part of Buchi Babu, which is to a degree at a distance from his run of the mill style. Sunil needed to underplay in a large portion of the scenes. He did make his absolute best at those scenes, yet could not get the craved outcome. He is at home in comedic successions. His moves are a treat, notwithstanding being exaggerated in this motion picture. Isha Chawla is strictly acceptable. A well known brave woman might have brought about a significant improvement and reasonable. Esha's non-verbal communication didn't suit the part of a heedless green woman. The young lady who played her associate is fine. The character who played the part of Anjali's mate is outrageous. Ali's trademark discoursed worked out in few scenes. Rest of the star throws flung in their chips to keep the motion picture going. On the Specialized Front: Raj Kumar's music is horrendous. Not a lone tune is worth listening anyhow once. Oppressed Sunil needed to break his knees to make this blockhead melodies watchable. Underpinning score is torment in the ears. Cinematography is substandard and so is the altering. Making value is okay. Chief Devi Prasad is known for taking care of comic drama without any difficulty. Nonetheless, he could not utilize his quality to the center. The adaptations he made to the definitive subject didn't shape out well. He fizzled as a head and additionally could not get the best yield from his technicians and creators. A picture to disregard for him. Examination: Revamping a sentimental performer with a satire based victor is suicidal. Madhavan suited the part to the grip in the definitive and perhaps a delicate looking brave person might have been perfect decision for the change. Sunil doesn't fit here in any method. He needed to bargain on his comedic timing and remain latent for most part of the picture. There is next to no chance for Sunil to shoulder the picture. Sunil's past hits like Maryada Ramanna, Poola Rangadu have great product of snickers. Mr. Pellikoduku fell well short of desires in the parody and diversion part. Honestly talking there is nothing that stood up in this picture. Ghastly tunes, repulsive screenplay didn't help it in any avenue. Regardless of Sunil's valiant deliberations to make it watchable, Mr. Pellikoduku is a dragging picture that doesn't please you at any example. Sunil has some swarm pulling force and masses have certainty in him. That needs to carry respectable openings to this picture. Mr. Pelli Koduku doesn't have enough quality and stamina to score over the crate office. View it at your particular danger.
