Tapsee opens up Crush on Ranbir

We are aware that Southern Siren Tapsee is making her bollywood debut with 'Chashme Baddor' opposite Ali Zafar. Veteran Actor Rishi Kapoor is also doing a vital role in the film. During the shoot of the film both Tapsee and Rishi Kapoor connected well together on two things that is food and films as those are their favorite pass times. In their chat, Tapsee even admitted to the senior actor that she has a big crush on his son Ranbir Kapoor, and 'Rockstar' being her favorite film. Well, Tapsee intentions are not clear. Does she wants to date Ranbir Kapoor to bag a film with him or the words really come from her bottom of the heart. Only Tapsee knows. Guess apart, Comedy film 'Chashme Baddor' is hitting the screens on April 5th. Its success at box office is very important to Tapsee as she wants to make it big in bollywood.

Manchu Lakshmi lands in controversy

After the recent big controversy faced by Manchu family of portraying Brahmins in 'Denikaina Ready'film , they have now landed in another controversy with Manchu Lakshmi's 'Gundello Godari' flick. This time it is from Poosalu community. Into the details, the film has a hot actress Suja Varunee who played the character of selling 'poosalu' and talks filthy with people around. Her character show off like a typical village prostitute. However, there seems to be a community in AP called Poosalu community and they have issues with that character in the film. They lodged a complaint on Lakshmi Manchu for degrading their caste with such cheap potrayal. Leaders of Poosalu Community have already met the Censor Board regarding this issue and it is reported that they are demanding few scenes to be deleted and dialogue mutes.

Mahankali Movie Review

Movie : Mahankali Rating: 2/5 Cast : Rajasekhar, Madhurima, Pradeep Rawat, Vinod Kumar and others Directed by : Jeevitha Rajasekhar Produced by : Yeluru SurenderReddy Banner : SS Movies Music : Chinna Dr. Rajasekhar who has been in very poor form in the recent past has donned khakhi uniform for the nth time in this film. His wife Jeevitha wielded megaphone for this cop drama which has very little to offer. What is it about? Mahankali (Rajasekhar) is a sincere and strict police officer and aims to bring down mafia don Arshad (Pradeep Rawat). But he ends up as his associate and starts working for him by taking orders. How Mahankali turns against Arshad and what he does is the remaining story. Performances: Rajasekhar is fine as a sincere cop. This character is cakewalk for him. He might be the actor who has done this role more than any other actor in history. Despite doing that many times, Rajasekhar didn't get bored of it and gave his best shot. To cut things short he is the only saving grace for this rotten cop drama. Madhurima is just okay. Pradeep Rawat is routine and so are Vinod Kumar and Jeeva. There are many actors in this movie and surprisingly there is no trace of single comedian in it. On the Technical Front: Jeevitha failed as a director in all the departments. She couldn't get the best out of her technicians too. Dialogue is cliched and cinematography is pathetic. Music by Chinna is loud and unbearable. Editing and Art departments are non existent. Don't talk about production 'values' please! Jeevitha proved that direction is not her cup of tea yet again. These movies need a capable director to make audiences sit till the end. Asking her to direct this movie is the biggest blunder that Rajasekhar did. Analysis: Mahankali is as old as Rajasekhar. He has been doing films with same theme from ages. Blame it on Ankusam! Rajasekhar tried to get out of the shell by choosing a cop role. Unfortunately he couldn't help this film from being a disaster. There are some nice moments in the first half and credit goes to the actor. Things have gone haywire in second hour and the director had no clue about what to do. She has simply put all the scenes together and waited for the end credits to roll on. Not a single scene in the second hour is worth watching. Climax hits final nail in the coffin. Except for Rajasekhar and few scenes in the first half Mahankali is a total let down. It may appeal to audiences who look for C grade mass movies. Rest can safely stay away from this endless torture.

Gundello Godari Review

It was to release in November 2013, but due to unavailability of enough number of theatres, the movie had to be delayed. Its promos have soared up the viewers' curiosity to sky high. The long wait is worth as the film will surely rock you. Gundello Godari is a romance drama and lead actors' performances are the main highlight of the movie. Ilayaraja's melodious music and background score, MR Palanikumaar's cinematography, amazing CGI and art work, Kumar Nagendra's interesting screenplay, beautiful locations and costumes are its other attractions. The movie has its own share of drawbacks, which are ignored while you are glued to the screens. The film is set against the backdrop of 1986 Godavari floods. Many had lost their homes and livelihoods in that awful incident and the movie depicts destruction and pain caused by this natural disaster. It revolves around two love stories, which show how the lives of four people had changed with the tragedy. Gundello Godari opens with the scenes of heavy rainfall and the film soon goes into flashback mode, which reveals the love story between Aadi and Tapsee. But the first half gives little hint about the natural calamity and it throws more focus on the love story between two lead pairs. The first hour has three beautiful songs including one item number and a fight sequence. Despite not having comedy, the movie is quite interesting. The second half heads to reveal the romance between Sundeep and Lakshmi in the first 30 minutes, which seems to be slow and dragging at times. Then the film shifts back to flooding scene. The climax is amazing and the camera and CGI works and background score in it are superb and it is a visual treat. Fisherman Malli (Aadi) and Chitra (Lakshmi Manchu) are a newly wed couple. They decide to narrate the past life, when they lose hope of survival due to devastating flood. Malli reveals his ambition to buy a fishing boat and his romance with a fishing merchant's daughter Sarala (Tapsee). Meanwhile, Chitra also reveals her love story with Suri (Sundeep Kishan). What made them break up with their loved ones? Will their confessions affect their relationship? Will they survive the flood? The answers to these questions should be seen on screen.

Venky-Ram says 'Sarve Jana Sukhinobavanthu'

Surprised! 'Sarve Jana Sukhinobavanthu' is the title of upcoming multi-starrer in which Venkatesh and Ram will be playing the lead roles. The film is a remake of Bollywood hit 'Bol Bachchan' which stars Ajay Devagan and Abhishek Bachchan. Vijayabhaskar (Nuvve Kavali and Nuvvu Naaku Nachav fame) is directing this prestigious project. Anjali is considered for the female lead opposite Venky as their pairing in Seethamma Vakitlo Sirimalle Chettu was well appreciated by the film lovers. However, the makers are yet to pick up the leading lady opposite Ram. While Sravanthi Ravi Kishore is producing the flick, D Suresh Babu is presenting it. The pooja ceremony of 'Sarve Jana Sukhinobavanthu' was held Today at Vinayaka temple in Ramanaidu Studios. Just like the original, the Telugu remake too is expected to be a comedy caper.

Pawan's Song in Nitin's Movie

Nitin is an ardent fan of Powerstar Pawan Kalyan and has publicly stated himself about his love on Pawan Kalyan and his films many times. Samantha signs her first Bollywood film

Tollywood's most sought after actress Samantha is all set to make her debut in Hindi Film Industry soon. This is going to happen with Bollywood star Ajay Devagan's cop drama 'Singham 2' (A sequel to Singham). Director Rohit Shetty of Golmaal series and Singham fame will be directing this action enertainer. The regular shooting would kickstart in the second half of 2013. Currently, Samantha is shooting for Pawan Kalyan's Sarada and producer Bellamkonda Suresh's Son debut vehicle under the direction of VV Vinayak. So, our South hottie joins the shoot of 'Singham 2' only a few months later and the it's scheduled release would be in early 2014. Pawan Fans Shivarathri hungama

The hungama created by Pawan Kalyan's Gabbar Singh in the last Summer is known to one and all. After nearly an year, it has set the cash registers ringing at the Box Office again. Confused, here is the actual story. On the eve of the auspicious Maha Shivarathri, special screenings of Gabbar Singh were arranged all over the state. Surprisingly, the film ran with packed houses in all the centres, recording a more per screen average than any of the new releases. The fans were in a festival mood and they were seen enjoying Pawan's onscreen magic to the core yet again. Thanks to Powerstar's euphoria! Although few Blockbuster films of other stars to have been screened on Sunday midnight, they managed to get just lukewarm response from the film lovers. Gabbar Singh went on to become the second highest grosser of Telugu Cinema. It shattered all the opening records and set a new benchmark for other heroes to cross. Once again proven, 'Tough to stop Pawan when he is in form'.
