2012 Is The Deadline For Manchu Manoj

Most of his friends from the industry have already done that and now the clock started ticking his deadline. Manchu Manoj is under tremendous pressure now, especially from his mother to finish the unfinished business.

Apparently, most of Manoj's friends and contemporaries in the industry got married either by finding love or by finding a bride. Sources revealed that both Mohan Babu and Manoj's mother are insisting him to tie the knot by the end of 2012 at any cost. Already a bunch of proposals are there across the table and it is heard that Mohan Babu is waiting for his son's consent to go ahead. If everything goes well, they will proceed for engagement this year and the mega wedding will take place in early 2013.

Even though it is just a matter of time, finding an ideal bride is as tough as rocket science for any eligible bachelor. Manoj also confirmed the other day that he will get married to a girl of his dad's choice, but only after settling down well. Watch this space for more updates.

'Copy King' Not In Race For 200 Cr Film

Bollywood tiger Salman Khan is soon to cross the 200 crore mark with 'Ek Tha Tiger' to break all records. With the movie creating wonders at Box Office, our 'Copy King' is rumored to be trying hard to grab the remake rights.

Tamil hero Vijay is well known for his remakes of blockbuster movies from other languages. Say it Okkadu or Pokiri or Bodyguard or Azad remake, Vijay is the first person to jump into such movies and hence the name 'Copy King'. Rumors suggested that he is all set to don the role of RAW agent 'Tiger' in the Tamil version of 'Ek Tha Tiger', directed by Jeyam Ravi and produced by his father Editor Mohan. However, Ravi made it clear that there are no plans to remake 'Ek Tha Tiger' and there is no question of even buying remake rights.

With Vijay definitely going out of the race, any other heroes like Pawan and Simbu might try their hand at the remake. But Pawan said a no already and Simbu is not ready to burn hands again after the flop show of 'Dabang' Tamil remake.

Kajal has done few steamy photo shoots for some magazines in the recent times. May be she did those to give a hint to the directors that are not looking at her in such a way. With Kajal openly stating that she can go to any extent to play a character, we could now hope that someone will show the excessive glamour side of this ravishing beauty.

Mahesh not interested in SAK's daughter

Recently few sections of our media reported that Mahesh Babu will soon pair up with Saif Ali Khan's daughter Sarah Ali Khan in one of his future ventures. Like many heroes, Mahesh has been facing problems with lack of heroines in Tollywood. Only a handful of them are currently trending and each and every big hero is running after them.

Mahesh Babu doesn't like to repeat heroines, but he had no choice at the moment that he had to repeat Samantha and Kajal immediately. This triggered the rumors that Mahesh is looking out for fresh heroines and then Sarah's name popped up. However, sources from film nagar confirmed that Mahesh is not interested in Sarah as she is very young for him.

Sarah is in her late teens and looks very tender that she will only suit teenage heroes. Mahesh is nearing forty and despite his young looks he is not interested to romance teenage girls on screen. Same 'Old Package' for Nagarjuna

Nagarjuna's Damarukam is into the last leg of post production stage and the publicity campaign of this film has just started on the eve of Nag's birthday. The real campaign will kick start in a month or so. Damarukam looks something special in many aspects. The film is one of its kind says the makers who are hyping about the visual effects.

Although the film looks interesting due to the premise and graphics, it is not as exciting on the casting front. Anushka, who has been a regular in Nagarjuna's film is the heroine in it. Besides there is Charmi who will shake her legs with Nagarjuna in the introduction song. Charmi did the same in Ragada too.

Moreover Anushka did the heroine role in Ragada. As far as the glamour factor is concerned, Damarukam doesn't have anything new. Anushka and Charmi have already entered the boring list of heroines and there isn't any freshness combination wise too. Now everything is left over to Nagarjuna, Devi Sri Prasad and the Visual FX.

Srimannarayana will be another Gabbar Singh!

Balakrishna's Srimannarayana is all set to hit the marquee on this Thursday and the buzz is slowly starting to pick. Nandamuri fans are betting big on this film. They are planning to screen huge number of benefit shows on the release day as they have a gut feeling that it would work. Yellow Flowers banner has a decent track record, which makes them to believe that Srimannarayana would have decent content.

The biggest factor that is going to work in favor of Srimannarayana is it is the only film that is targeted at masses in the last three months. After Gabbar Singh none of the movies really enthralled the masses with powerful dialogues and masala elements. Eega and Julayi have been successful, but they are not lapped up by the masses like Gabbar Singh.

Gabbar Singh was a unanimous hit in all the areas. Masses and classes liked it equally. Srimannarayana targets the same audiences. Even if it falls short in the class areas and cities, it can surely entertain masses and in that case it could become another Racha if not Gabbar Singh. Saying so, Srimannarayana should be backed up by decent content to get fully benefited by the timing of release.  Hope Ravi Chavali packed it with enough to pull the masses to the theaters.

Allari Naresh not only became 'Sudden Star' with his 'Sudigadu' but is suddenly targeting the other biggies in the race. Coming to overseas market, especially in USA, this holds true.

Currently, Julayi is racing ahead in USA with a collection of $797,329 (4.4 cr approx) after third weekend and there is no big flick to give it a race. There comes Devudu Chesina Manushulu that is completely rejected by NRI audience with just $ 18,321 (10 lakhs) collection after second weekend. Shockingly 'Sudigadu' got huge openings and the opening weekend collected $ 125,484, which approximates to 69.8 lakhs. With Julayi collections coming down a bit this week, Sudigadu might take a plunge to leap into beating Stylish Star Allu Arjun's movie.

On the other hand, with Mega flicks faring well in US this year, 'Cameraman Gangatho Rambabu' is expected to create records in overseas market. Let us see!

NTR to bail out Mohan Babu?

We have already reported that hero Prabhas has dubbed for few scenes in Manchu Vishnu's upcoming film Denikaina Ready. This news has certainly upped the interest factor for this film. Now Vishnu is looking to add many more such attractions to make it a crazy project. If the buzz is to be believed NTR is likely to make a cameo appearance in Denikaina Ready.

Vishnu is a close pal of Jr. NTR and even the latter has good relation with Mohan Babu. Remember, Mohan Babu played the role of Yama in Junior's super hit flick Yama Donga? As per the buzz, Mohan Babu wants NTR to do a cameo in Vishnu's film as he is desperately wanting for a hit. NTR's special appearance can make Denikaina Ready attractive.

NTR is not against doing cameo appearances. He has done a dance bit in Venkatesh's Chintakayala Ravi. So he may not say no to Mohan Babu's request. Recently Vishnu dropped on Baadshah sets and had a long chat with Tarak. Let's wait and see if NTR bails out Manchus who are in desperate need of a hit.

Pawan kalyan's CGR getting Fancy Offers!

Power Star Pawan Kalyan , Tamannah starrer forthcoming movie with Ace Director Puri Jagan, ‘Cameraman Ganga tho Rambabu’ which is currently shooting at Hyderabad getting very fancy offers from overseas buyers. The movie is being released in USA by producer D.V.V.Danayya himself.

Australia and New Zealand rights were bagged for a fancy price of 30 lakhs by Elixir India Entertainments, beating the previous record held by Gabbar Singh comfortably.
UK rights were picked up for Rs 30 lakhs by Colours Media. Bumper prices are being recorded for other areas too.

With all these numbers, it is clear that Pawan and Puri’s combo is going great guns before release. Mani Sharma is scoring the music.

Gopichand turns Security Guard

Aggressive Star Gopichand who is playing the lead role in Chandrashekar Yeleti direction will be seen as an ATM security guard in the movie. Drunken Actress Slips Tongue on Marriage

Yes, It's True! The actress is none other than Raima Sen (Nitin's Dhairyam fame). High on Alcohol, she announced her marriage with her close friend Varun Thapar on Twitter and denied it later.

"I am getting married to Varun Thapar," she tweeted first and later added "Varun is my best friend". She didn't stop there itself, but went ahead by posting few pictures of them which shows Varun proposing to her with a diamond ring and she happily accepting it.

Raima's family was in a state of shock as they weren't not sure what made her declare about the marriage all of a sudden without even consulting them. Her phone hasn't stopped ringing since then, but the actress wasn't in a position to answer any of the calls. Only after she woke the next morning, Raima realized what she has done in high spirits. She immediately posted a tweeted as part of the damage control mission. "Last nite was a joke and I'm not getting married," she posted.

Raima Sen is the daughter veteran actress Moon Moon Sen. Her sister Riya Sen's (also an actress) MMS video with actress Amisha Patel's brother Asmit Patel became a rage on web few years ago.

Danayya is very confident about the film that he refused to sell the US rights of CGR for five crores! Gabbar Singh US rights were sold for 3 crores and it collected over million dollars there. So Danayya firmly believes that CGR wouldn't be any less than Gabbar Singh and is releasing the film on his own.

CGR made more than a crore from other overseas areas, which is a record for Pawan Kalyan's film. Australia, New Zealand rights were bought by Elixir India Entertainments for Rs. 30 lakhs. K Janaki Ratna Kumar bought Gulf and Kuwait rights for Rs. 40 lakhs. UK and Europe territory rights were acquired by Colors media for Rs. 30 lakhs. CGR is making big bucks in AP and other states too.

Hansika Gives Clarity About Tamanna

Cute hottie turned fat chick, Hansika Motwani has at last opened her mouth about Tamanna. This is regarding a movie with Naga Chaitanya and here goes it.

The other day, milky beauty Tamanna is roped in place of Hansika to play the lead opposite Chaitu in 'Vettai' remake, tentatively titled 'Bhale Tammudu'. It is thought that Tamanna's glamour has outshined Hansika's fat look, and that is why the replacement. But our 'Kantri' girl is saying today that she opted out of the flick due to shortage of dates.

'I'm having six flicks lined up on the board. I have no choice except to opt out of this movie as assigning bulk dates is a big task', says Hansika. The glowing beauty lashed out at all other rumours that are in circulation and asked to give them a stop.

Suriya takes on Pawan Kalyan

Pawan Kalyan and Suriya are two big stars in South India who could make everyone turn their heads. What would be the result if these stars compete with their films at the Box Office.

Suriya's much awaited film Duplicate (Maatraan in Tamil) in the director of KV Anand (Rangam fame) is gearing up for release on October 12, which means it will hit the screens just one day after Pawan's Camerman Gangatho Rambabu (Oct 11 release). Bellamkonda Suresh has bought the rights of this film which has Kajal as the female lead for an exorbitant price of Rs 17 crores and has been planning for a wide releasee all over AP.

The films of Pawan Kalyan and Suriya never competed at the Box Office until now, but CGR and Duplicate might break that . Although both these stars have a fan base and market of their own, releasing their films without much gap could eat each others collections. Although Pawan will have an edge irrespective of the opponent as his popularity and fan base innumerable, Distributors and Exhibitors were expressing dis-interest on the release dates of these films just because they weren't ready to take any chances. Let's see if Suriya backs out of the battle to pave way for Powerstar!

Sekhar don't bother about external factors and just releases his film when it is ready. If both the films release at the same time without any changes, we hope both the movies does well. Wait, September is also going to witness Shirdi Sai and Srimannarayana. Well, September is going to be huge for Tollywood.
