Stunning Facts Behind 'Eega' Graphics

There are lots of doubts regarding the graphic work of SS Rajamouli's blockbuster movie 'Eega'. Many people are said to doubt the Hollywood level output of this movie and here are the facts exclusive for Gulte.com readers. Total Computer Graphics of 'Eega' is handled by an Hyderabad based studio 'Makuta VFX'. It is heard that this studio headed by Kamal Kannan, Pete Draper, Adil Adili and Sunil Akula have delivered 80% of the CG work. As per the officials of Makuta, only 20% of the Eega graphics work was outsourced and the rest is done by the in house experts. They say that this is the first movie in the world to make extensive use of all the available 3D software to deliver stunning visuals. Scenes like fly birth, water chase, birds chasing eega, heroine squirting water on blood soaked fly are superior to what we see in many Hollywood flicks. It is not exaggeration to say that the quality delivered by Hyderabad's very own studio is almost equal to the likes of world top VFX studios like ILM and Digital Domain. Generally, VFX delivered in most of the flicks always give an artificial feel as they look of CG work. But coming to 'Eega', Hyderabad based Makuta has shocked everyone with their natural looking visuals and is said to be shaking Mumbai VFX and animation industries too. Under the captaincy of a tough task master like Rajamouli, a team with lots of motivation and self-discipline has delivered this stunning product to make India proud. Many international movie critics are awe-struck with the work of Rajamouli and are busy explaining the world as to what happens when a team of talented CG technicians support an Indian director. Take a bow Rajamouli and Makuta team.
